This course will get you started in the basics of air conditioning. Lessons in this course will define refrigeration and cover several of the common terms used when discussing refrigeration. From there, we will cover the basic refrigeration cycle and the four required components of a complete air conditioning system. Once that is under our belt, we will cover the other common components including controls and safety devices. For each component, we will focus on what the parts are, where they are located in the equipment, and what they do.
